Facts about Industrial Radio Remote Control System for Crane Services

As information technology continues to evolve, it is provided with bold new opportunities to revolutionize how your equipment is served and supported after it leaves the factory. These services and support and new opportunities can improve your competitive position by simultaneously increasing revenue and decreasing costs.

Crane service truck proportional hydraulic radio remote controls are specifically manufactured for industrial automation. This industrial remote control greatly improves job site safety by providing the operator the safest vantage point for effective control of the crane. This one man remote control eliminates the requirement for a second person stabilizing the load while guiding its placement.

Crane’s can use 4 different models. These are;

1.    DSST – yellow handheld – used for proportional control

2.    ASKR – blue handheld

3.    FHSR – blue handheld to be used in areas where interference is a factor

4.    ASKW – up to 8 functions

Now the Handheld industrial radio remote control transmitters are available with up to twelve
crane control buttons as specified by customer.  The rechargeable transmitter delivers 30 hours of continuous use between charges (charger supplied). The optional 'Enable' button requires two deliberate steps before the signal is sent (Enable plus command signal).

The receiver is up to twelve pre-programmed with high-side outputs available. Now the outputs can be selectively interlocked to other operations for safety reasons. The optional external antenna extends range from 100ft up to 2000ft. At the same time, the interface for OEM crane controls can be simplified with factory installed direct-plug connectors or through J1939 serial communication (other protocols available). And the modular components and external set-up button allow for easy installation and field replacement.
